Why I Started Podcasting

I Love People

I love people and love to meet people and I seem to have a pretty good talent for breaking the ice and relating to anyone no matter what their ethnic background, religion, gender, neighborhood they grew up etc.

I found simple questions and  listening without judgements about anything they did or are. People often do not get to share themselves in their lives. This might sound surprising considering how plugged in we are in social media, but oftentimes there are entire parts of our personality that don’t get to see the light of day. For example you might like a musician that no one around you likes or knows about. You run into somebody who shares that love and you can talk for hours while those close to you sit and listen and don’t even realize how much it meant to you. I have done this all my life and will to the day I die.

Why This Podcast: Singular Trilemma?

Everyone and their brother is doing a podcast now, and I didn’t want to do some narrowband show that bored me and bored the audience. I wanted to cover it all like the interviews I used to watch as a kid with Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes. I also knew I wanted a co-host to balance things out. I put out an add and along came Danielle. The first time we met we sat and riffed off of each other for four hours straight and came up with a multitude of show ideas.. Our podcast Singular Trilemma was born.

Both of us share the desire to ask hard questions, explore difficult topics, show multiple sides of an issue, ignore politics, and have a lot of fun at the same time. We look forward to you joining us and will provide links and updates soon.
