Who is Craig Hamar?
First off I want to go on record as saying I am not a huge fan of bios to begin with because they tend to be like a eulogy at a funeral in the sense that all you hear are the good things. I mean no one ever says “this person who lies before us, well frankly I think I speak for everyone here in saying ‘what a jerk and good riddance,’ he did the world a huge favor leaving its surface.” Sure bios are interesting from the standpoint of where was someone born, what was their family like, what inspired them, what shaped them, but you never see this in bios you only see “he/she saved the whole village of orphaned children and then took them all out for ice cream while negotiating the companies largest expansion and saving the whales at the same time.” So with all that being said. Here is my bio…take it with a grain of salt. I know I do.
Craig Hamar’s successful career in the techonology field is characterized by his passionate interest in emerging forms of technology. He serves as CTO for Helix Innovative Inc., the company he founded.
Craig began his digital career pulling from his post production experiences in the motion picture industry which included his work with such clients as Showtime, HBO, MTV and Kingworld.
Over the past decade, Craig has worked with innovative companies such as Internap, Red Hat, Agilysis, and Smartfox. During this time, Craig gained a comprehensive familiarity with several key technology sectors including payment gateway systems, customized online enterprise applications, gaming systems, clustering, wireless, data base applications, storage solutions, open-source software, R&D, enterprise development, and content management systems, as well as vertical industries such as media and entertaiment, education, and insurance. Craig’s work has not only resulted in greatly heightened publicity for his clients, but increased business development for them as well.
Craig is fully proficient in web development project management from languages, technologies, current trends, hardware, data center deployments to managing diverse teams of international developers and vendors.
